The course aims at giving a general overview on biological features and clinical application of embryonic, fetal and adult stem cells. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, bone marrow microenvironment in normal and pathological hematopoiesis and problems related to stem cell-based approaches to regenerative medicine are particularly developed and discussed.
